Last time I was in Vigan it's a field trip on my History class way back college. Almost 11years had past and believe me this is not the first attempt to go back to this historic place.
Been trying to go back here for about a year now, and thanks to a cancelled trip in Occidental Mindoro i was able to pushed through my Vigan escapade.
I'm not a museum type of girl, i don't know why but it was just not fun for me. So aside from the Crisologo Museum i didn't bother to see other museums since i already saw it eleven years ago.
Up until now, old stuff amazes me... Old houses, Old churches and other old things you can see on this place.
Here are the things you can enjoy in Vigan while ridding in kalesa. It will be about 150php per hour.
Baluarte - NO ENTRANCE FEE - how cool is that, and you will get the chance to see some animals roaming around the park.
Hidden Garden - it a nice place for people who appreciate plants / flowers but the restaurant here is more amazing for me.. Hey what can i do... i love to eat ;)
Bantay Church and Bell Tower - one of the places where the great Fernando Poe Jr. aka Panday shoot his film here.
Heritage Village - the best place in Vigan where you can eat, shop and take tons of nice pictures.
HAPPY TRAVEL!!!
Thanks for this. We can use this for our trip to Vigan on December. :)

ReplyDeleteMay I recommend adding Taal, Batangas to your bucket list for Philippine adventures? Taal is the foremost heritage town in the Southern Tagalog region and its right next to Tagaytay! Not many know, so we are trying to get the word out.
Home to many heroes, every Filipino should tour Taal at least once. It makes for a wonderful blog. For more about Taal check out:

Cheers!
