CAPE ENGANO

Cape Engano is located on the Palaui Island in the town of Sta. Ana, Cagayan. Sta. Ana is about 3 hours away from Tuguegarao/ You can take a van or a bus going down there.

From the town center of Santa Ana, you can take a trike or a asked the van to drop you to San Vicente port which is about 10-15 minutes away.

From the port, nagkita na kami ni kuya Edwin and he was the one who made arrangements for our boat.  I really want to see the Anguib Beach since base on the rivers ay super ganda daw, from 1700php we're able to make a side trip to Anguib for a total of 2500php.

From Aguib Beach, to the light house was one hell of a ride.

But there's no turning back.. we are actually lucky to make this boat ride rather than trek the mountains for 6 hours.. we do not have the luxury of time...

After almost an hour, the sea was calmer...  we are o the route na dapat ay dun talaga ang daan if we did not go to Anguib beach.. sobrang opposite naman ang dagat dito, payapa. Then from here, we started our 30-40 minute trek going to the light house and i must say.. the view was soo amazing...

Napaka green ng mga damo, and ang landscape was so beautiful... I've seen some pictures of Batanes, and i can say parang Batanes cya sa ganda.

Trekking the mountain going to the light house was so easy.. half of it, concrete cement ... tapos mga damo na ung iba...

Upon reaching the mountain was indeed breath taking.. nakakrelax ang hangin, lalo na when we went up to the light house.. unfortunately di namin narating ang pinakatoktok since nakalock ito but never the less maganda at mahingin pa din sa kintatayuan namin..

We spend about an hour to enjoy the place and took some pictures.  The feeling of happiness and peacefulness was just sooo awesome...  if this thing could last a lifetime ill be the most happy person in the world =)

PANSIT SA TUGUEGARAO

Pansit would be one of my favorite food.  From the instant pansit canton, to yakisoba hanggang sa pansit bihon at malabon, sobrang hilig ko sa pansit.  Willing akong ipalit ang spaghetti dito.

My last trip to Tuguegarao introduced me to another variety of pansit- pansit batil patong and pansit cabagan.  Both pansit are delicious as in gravehhhh  =)

Pansit Batil Patong

- Malaki ang miki
- ang daming toppings as in pork toppings

Pansit Cabagan
- mas maliit ang miki nya
- meron itong konting repolyo at more toppings din

Comparison:
I personnally liked the pansit cabagan since i'm trying to be healthy kahit paano.
Both pansit are good to eat lalo na kung may toyo, sibuyas, suka at egg soup na kasama.
Perfect kainin habang mainit init pa.
Di ka mauubusan ng pansit sa Tuguegarao dahil bawat kanto ata my panciteria.
Around 50php to 70php ang isang serving nila pero sobrang busog na abutin mo dito.

How to wat the Pansit?
Half ng pansit ay kainin mo na, pwede mong lagyan na ito ng suka, toyo at sibuyas... kapag mejo kalahati na ibuhos mo na ang egg soup. Yan daw ang tamang pagkain =)

ANGUIB BEACH

According to my research.  Anguib beach is the next Boracay but they are all wrong.  It's way better than Boracay.

Before the only way to get there was by boat (1500php) but now since gawa na ung daan, kaya na itong puntahan ng mga tricycle (200php).  Sayang nga lang we do not have that much time to explore the entire beach but what we see is enough to fell in love with it.

The water got blue and turquoise color. The sand is fine and white.  Only few people where there when we arrived.  Cottages are scattered  and also guards.

It was a private resort kaya naman may fee na 50php, but it was okay.   Going there was indeed very challenging for us and sa boatman namin. Sobrang alon, as in, malala pa ito sa Guimaras Alon at Anawangin  Alon.

It was sidetrip for us before going to Cape Engano.  We paid 2500php for the boat and 250php for our guide going to the light house.
