CASA ASTILLERO - CALATAGAN BATANGAS BEACH RESORT

Are you looking for a perfect getaway this summer? and you don't want to travel that far from Metro Manila.  Check out this place we discover in Calatagan Batangas.  Nice Beach, grayish fine sand and very affordable rates.

This is our place for my Quarter 1 Team Building and we had a blast.  We're able to cook are food/grill, drink all night, swim and explore the place in our 2 days one night escape.

      get in touch with mang lucio.. byahe talaga nyan ung calatagan - pasay ... normally they will add small amount lang nmn since ihatid nya kau sa resort mismo.. mejo madami kasi kami eh so nacover nmn namin lahat ng seats wala png 200php each ang contri per way.

    Hi po, I have no idea about the road to casa astillero, car friendly ba yan? we are planning to go there by car, so I was wondering if friendly ba ang mga kalsada para sa kotse tapos 5 ang nakasakay

    This resort is not even a resort per se...it will took you 20 minutes before you reach the shoreline...dadaan ka muna sa mala kumunoy na putikan...plus the beach water is super malagkit..we booked ds 7k..d deposit is done 2500..and after we arrived the caretaker went immediately to us to asked for the remaining balance of 4,500..usu.kinabuksan pa yun db..we gave the money but after 4 hours..reality came to us to refund d amount bcoz it's not really worth it..we came to the owner and asked for the refund...d cr is quite awful too..bad locks,bad smell, waley ang view,rough road..is short SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

    hi...nagbabalak po kasi kmi ng family ko na mag outing jan nga po ung napili nmin,..pro eto po bkit my bad comment...nakaka sad nman po...sna dpo nmin ma experience ung na feel nila..

      Yes, nakakasad po ang naexperience nila.. But its all up to u po.. Not all destinations are perfect, even el nido , boracay, palawan have flaws, its all up to u. I'm just relating what I had experience.. At the end of the day, UL be the one deciding if u wanna enjoy it or not :)

    It's not really advisable to go this resort. It sucks big time! To start is off, there's no sighpn on the road on where casa astillero is. We need to ask the people there on the location of the resort.

    1. When you arrive at the resort, you'll immediately be disappointed and say, "eto na yun?" The view is not fantastic.
    2. If you are after privacy, do not rent the biggest tent. It is see-through. We weren't expecting that. Tsk tsk.
    3. The beach is too shallow. Malayo na yung nalakad mo pero mababaw parin. Not really recommended for those who wants to swim.
    4. They only have 4 cubicles for the girls' restroom (i dont know for the boys).. 2 with toilets, the rest are simply shower rooms (though the shower is not working).
    5. The water in the CR is sooooooooo annoying! Ang konti ng lumalabas na tubig. Nakakainis talaga. Pwede ka nang matulog muna habang hinihintay yung tubig
    6. The farther part of the beach is full of plants underneath. Sea urchins hide on those plants. Beware, you might step on it. Ouch!

    The price paid is not worth it. I suggest you just find another beach/resort that is MUCH BETTER than Casa Astillero.

      Yeah very very true, not worth your money and time..super sayang ang oras tlga nkaka badtrip..false advertisement and all..oo some Resorts has flaws too but this one GOT IT BIG TIME!Try beaches in Laiya Batangas, white sand na mura pa at maganda like Moonlight Beach Resort...this one is not recommendable

    Why not try burot beach. I see on most blogs its beautiful as well and its also mentioned on that list. Though the place I guess is not developed yet

    I went to Casa Astillero, it was easy to find for me. You just have to follow the instructions given in their confirmation email,
    they even provided a map, with complete details. I enjoyed my stay tho. We got the biggest tent and it was really big like 8 ft tall?
    Malamig , di malamok at mahangin kasi seethrough yung tent. OO nga shallow yung tubig but we found a "sand bar" walang kahit anong bato or weeds just go to the left part of the beach, malinaw na malinaw yung tubig. They have 4 decent CR's pwede na, malakas naman yung tubig during our stay.

    We went to sa Burot first but sobrang dumi ng CR saka overcharging sila sa entrance pati tubig pangligo may bayad.
    Some of the guest had to poop sa beach mismo kasi overcrowded and they only have portable toilets made from square tin can/ lata. Not really nice - its dirty and no electricity sa Burot.

    One of my friend lost her camera and the Casa Astillero staff found it. Honest and mga staff ng Casa. It may not be 100% perfect but you can't expect a 5 star facility from a P100 bucks entrance fee. We had a great camping experience.

      Since we're a big group.. Ung mga van galing Taft near mrt station heading Batangas area.. Since un ung route nila nag dagdag n Lang kami Ng konti.. But the the option bus ride Sa likod Ng mcdo also near mrt Taft.
