SIQUIJOR ITINERARY

HOW TO GET THERE?

Siquijor Port was about an hour ferry away from Port of Dumaguete. Fare was about 150PHP including the terminal fee.  I seldom ride ferries on my travels and the Port of Dumaguete was one if not the best Port I've ever seen in the country.

The ever reliable KUYA JOAM - 09276932095 (Thanks to http://www.pinoyadventurista.com and http://journeyingpinay.blogspot.com/ -  He will tour you around Siquijor with no hassles.  I was   planning to stay over night but when he assured me that we can finished everything in a day I decided to have a day tour instead since I still have plans the following day (which is my last day) in Dumaguete City.

DUMAGUETE CITY - MUST SEE

The town of Dumaguete offers so many things that you can not resist.  Aside from their delicious delicacies, you can visit some of the popular and historic places in town :)

Dumaguete Cathedral Church

Bell Tower 

Dumaguete Boulevard 

Tierra Alta 

Situated 800 feet above Dumaguete City - a colder weather and  fascinating view.  The houses located here are indeed very expensive. They have a restaurant cafe, clubhouse,  a zip line, swimming pool and  light house. 

Silliman University

This University reminds me so much of my alma matter.

PANDA ICE CREAM HAUS - fried ice creak 

DUMAGUETE CITY BAYWALK - tempura and balot by the sea side 

WHERE TO STAY?

NEGROS LODGING HOUSE (Calindangan, Dumaguete City) - rates starts from 150php and up. Do not expect too much for this rate but i always go on a cheap but safe accommodation and this one is really good :)
